Darrens online show began life during the first lockdown in 2020 when he tailored his own brand of magic specifically for the online stage.
He quickly developed a reputation for being able to bring exciting live entertainment into the homes of people of all ages and performed for people all over the world including China, The USA, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh and across the EU.
From lockdown birthdays to zoom quiz nights, moving-home parties to office meetings, Darren did it all.
Darren believes that magic should be fun and interactive and his online shows are no different.
Since restrictions lifted, the zoom fun hasn’t stopped, with people all over the world making the most of ab online, interactive show.
So whether you’re at home, in the office, in the park or on a train (Yep, it has happened!), Darrens show is the ideal way to bring people together, even if you’re apart.
The show runs for 40-45minutes, although shorter shows are available if required.
How does it work?
It couldn’t be simpler:
1. Get in touch with Darren for a quote and to confirm a date and time.
2. Depending on how you want the show to run, he will either send you a link (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams) for you to share with your friends, family, colleagues or clients, or you can send a link to Darren for him to join your event at the arranged time.
3. Then just grab your computer / laptop / smartphone or tablet, sit back and enjoy!
What is in the show?
Darren specialises in close-up magic. Magic that is intimate and allows for the audience to really share in a special moment. Darren has specially adapted his most loved routines for his online show and has created some brand new ones to showcase even more miracles!
Darren will predict the book you’ll pick from his bookcase, and even the page number you’ll choose from that book! He’ll show you why Rubik’s cubes are so frustrating, explain why magicians never reveal their secrets, do something crazy with a number you choose and do something unbelievable with a card that YOU choose and YOU sign!!
He will even teach you how to perform a trick yourself!
The show is jam packed with magic, it’s funny, it’s live, it’s interactive and you will have the best seats in the house!
Who, what, when, where?
Darrens show is suitable for everyone. Since March 2020 he has performed at team meetings, family & friend Quizzes, “hump day socials”, “Friday happy hours”, moving home parties, and birthdays for ages 10 -70 (and everything in between!).
Darrens show is perfect for adults but it’s brilliant if your kids want to join in too. If it’s your child’s birthday, Darren can tailor his show and reduce the time down to an ideal 20-25 minutes.
“When” is up to you; just let Darren know when you’re thinking. The location? Well because it’s virtual, you can be anywhere as long as you can get online!
Darrens online show has amazed audiences for Oddbox, Touchnote, University of Portsmouth, QinetiQ and many more. He is honoured to have been asked to perform for some of the amazing people who work for The Samaritans and over Christmas 2020 he provided some festive cheer for the incredible staff from 3 NHS hospitals, all within Tier 4 (full lockdown).
